For Eco Turka in Turkey, FFT designed Food treatment rooms for natural fumigation of nuts. FFT advised about optimal room sizes, location for gastight doors and the machine room.
Construction
The CA installation was specifically designed for the climate conditions in Turkey. The installation of the rooms and the CA equipment only took 10 days. This meant minimal inconvenience / disruption for the client in the day to day business.
Next to the Turn-key CA rooms FFT also converted 6 Silos for the same purpose. The nuts in the silos can be stored for a prolonged period without the risk of infestation.
